Rider Terms
The rules for accepting Musuwo deliveries: availability, truthful status, safety, and what Musuwo does and does not promise.
DRAFT. OWNER/LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED. Earnings, liability, safety and the contractual relationship between Musuwo and a rider have not been reviewed by a Zimbabwean lawyer.
1. This is a draft
These Rider Terms are a working operational document for the Musuwo pilot. They are not lawyer-approved. A later published version may replace them, and a material replacement can ask you to accept again.
Accepting Merchant Terms does not accept these Rider Terms. Accepting these Rider Terms does not accept Merchant Terms.
2. What Musuwo is asking you to do
If you are approved as a rider, Musuwo may offer you delivery jobs that a merchant has marked ready for pickup. You collect from the confirmed pickup point, carry the goods, and hand them to the customer using the current pickup, handover and delivery-code steps in the rider tools.
Musuwo does not promise that every rider will receive every job, or that jobs will be available on any given day.
3. Availability
- AVAILABLE means Musuwo may send you a delivery opportunity.
- OFFLINE means you should not expect new offers.
- While you are already on a job, or the system marks you busy, you may not
receive a new offer.
Turn AVAILABLE on only when you can actually take a job. False availability wastes a customer's time and another rider's chance.
4. Alerts
Enable rider alerts on the device you use so you can see an offer in time. A missed alert can mean another rider is offered the same job. Device, network and operating-system settings can stop a ping from arriving. The rider tools themselves remain the record of open offers.
Do not rely only on WhatsApp. WhatsApp is optional and is not required for rider work.
5. Accepting a job
Accepting a job creates an active delivery responsibility. Follow the current steps: travel to pickup, confirm pickup when the shop starts handover, travel to the customer, and confirm handover with the customer delivery code when the tools ask for it.
If you cannot complete a delivery, use the failure action in the rider tools and say what happened. Do not invent a completed delivery.
6. Truthful status
Statuses must be true. Do not mark arrived, picked up or delivered when that has not happened. Location sharing while a job is open is used to support that job. Do not spoof it.
7. Safety
Follow the current safety and incident rules. Do not take risks for speed. If something goes wrong, record it through the tools or write to support@musuwo.online.
8. Money
What you earn and when it becomes available follows the current Musuwo rider earnings and payout policy, not a promise in this draft. The rider tools show your own pending, available and paid balances. Musuwo does not guarantee a volume of jobs.
9. Access
Musuwo can pause or end rider access if these terms, safety rules or the current operating requirements are broken. Revoking access should stop future sensitive alerts as soon as practical.
